Took a MRT train ride last week and I was reminded of my previous experience of having to line up all the way down the stairs just to be able to get to the train platform! What the hell is with this country's mass transit system?!
Getting a card was a quick no-fuss affair with the new card vending machines, but getting to the platform was another matter! If you thought lining up to get a card was tedious, lining up all over just to get to the platform at rush hour was far worse!
I have to remember not to take the MRT train during rush hour. Or else I'll be sure to be late! I sure hope that the next president will be able to solve this mess..
