Went to PAWS with my friend Adrian yesterday to pick up their two cats that were spayed. And while we were waiting for their cats to wake up and become ready for check-out, we were pretty much enjoying the sights and sounds of the place.
I was particularly having a great time because there were a lot of cats there! And most of them were very friendly! I particularly liked a cat named Tantan who was really going through great efforts just to catch my attention! She was a very svelte feline who had a very good temperament. Honestly, I was contemplating whether or not I would adopt her. But I resisted and decided to keep my cool. I really don't think that we would have much time to care for another pet at home since we already have two very rambunctious dogs.
And as I was sitting at a bench playing scrabble on my mobile, a striped orange cat suddenly came up to me and sat on my lap! I actually ended up getting adopted by a cat! Ahahahahaha! I was smiling ear to ear since it was a long time since a cat did that to me. And I happen to like cats..
Alas we had to leave as Adrian's cats were up and all set to be taken home. My quality time with that last cat was cut short as we had to go. And up till now I'm still reminiscing those happy moments I had while I was there. And honestly, I want to go back and adopt Tantan so that we would have at least one cat here at home..
Haay. I just realized how I missed having a pet cat..
