THE TEST
In the depths of a man's darkness,
live the creatures that are his weakness.
When the bell finally tolls,
there is no stopping his life's fall.
Alone maybe a man is in his mind,
but God will never leave his heart.
He who decides his fate
will truly rule his life.
When the demons of the darkness win,
he who has no control will never get it.
But he who knows his heart the best,
never lets go of the reins.
Light. Darkness. Mind. Heart. Life.
Balance is the true key
but only the truth will set you free.
The recipe is right there before you.
Prepare for the worst and enjoy the best.
For when the test of the heart comes,
think with your head and feel with your heart.
The Lord will be there - within your friends.
I was in college and having a very hard time. Thankfully, I had my friends with me to get me out of my sad moments.
