I got to visit the National Museum recently and I have to say that I thoroughly enjoyed it. It was very nice to see all those galleries filled with historical artifacts. To think that the National Museum is already housed in two buildings and that a third one will be given to them next year! I can only imagine how many historical treasures our country has in its keep!
I had already gone to the National Museum as a high school student and back then, I had very little appreciation for the things I saw there. But coming back now as a grown up, it was very different and educational. I guess our appreciation for things really changes as we grow older..
Hopefully next time, I'll get to visit Fort Santiago and Intramuros. Maybe I'll throw in Malacañan Palace into the itinerary as well..
I had a great time last weekend. I hope you guys did too. =)
