Had a very busy weekend!
I had originally planned to join the Bike Club to prepare for the Marikina Halloween Bike Ride but ended up joining my siblings for a quick trip to a nearby mall to help my sister pick out an affordable Android phone that she can use to play her favorite games. We ate dinner after that at a nearby Japanese restaurant and ended up ordering a bit too much! We were able to finish all the food but boy were we full! Ahahahahaha!
We got home at 930pm and there was still enough time for me to suit up and join the Halloween Ride albeit only as a bandit rider. I put on a long-sleeved shirt and my cheap P35.00 zombie mask and off I was to join the citywide bike ride that was scheduled from 10:00 pm - 12:00 am. It was a fun ride and we got to ride around the city all dressed up as zombies. My costume actually ellicited some scared reactions from the onlookers and I was glad that my effort was not wasted at all. I just wish my kids were there to see me in costume! Ahahahahahaha!
I got home past 12 midnight and went straight to bed. I still had a 6am bike ride with my TPC friends (sir Benj and sir Roy) so I made sure to get enough rest since we would be biking up to Antipolo. When I got to the meeting place at 6:30am, sir Roy was nowhere to be found so only Sir Benj and me were left to get on with our planned ride. We tried to call up sir Roy's mobile but it was turned off and he could not be contacted at all. The weather was beautiful and it would be a total waste if we were to cancel our ride just because sir Roy could not be on hand to join us. The ride up to Antipolo was uneventful and I was back home shortly past 8:00 am. After taking a rest, I got ready to go to church and would not be able to join my siblings on their trip up to Papa's farm in Rizal.
After church, I got back home to cook rice and shortly afterwards my siblings got back from the farm. It was shortly past noon then. Lunch was great and we then made plans to go to the gorocery for some much needed supplies! After going to the grocery, I volunteered to cook our dinner in which I cooked some stir fried cabbage with meat. I was really busy and made a lot of errors since it had been a very long time since I last cooked dinner! But I was glad that my siblings ate my cooking and told me that it was good enough to eat. Ahahahahahhaha!
Now I'm finally back in my room to get some rest. Tomorrow will be another long day after all. I'm so very thankful to the Lord for giving me such a fruitful day. I wish it would always be like this.
