Poetry: Waiting

I saw a friend's feed post and I was inspired to write this..

WAITING

Am I waiting in vain?
or am I just waiting again?
Did I understand completely
that you also liked me?

But where are you dear?
I am shaking with fear
fear for you are not near.
My heart calls but you cannot hear.

You have touched my heart
eased my pain like an art...
But now that I yearn for you
do you not feel it too?

I am lost here waiting
in this dark corner with nothing.
I wait for you to come to me
and find out what is to be.
