Man is by nature greedy.
This old concept is something I believe in by heart. There will never be satisfaction for humans as a species. The need to satisfy one's desires has always been the main driving factor for humans to evolve and move forward as a species. As such, there will always be people who will never be happy with what they have. The grass will always be greener on the other side for them.
Kapag single, gusto magkaroon ng sabit kesyo malungkot.
Nung may sabit na, gusto maging single ulit kesyo andaming hassle.
Nag-asawa, gusto ng anak. Nung nagkaanak, puro reklamo kasi magastos.
May pamilya na, gusto bumalik sa pagka-single kesyo sawa na sa responsibilidad.
Walang trabaho, gusto magkatrabaho para daw may panggastos.
Nagkaroon ng trabaho, inis naman kesyo anlaki ng tax at puro daw stress at walang promotion.
Naging amo sa trabaho, gusto magpa-demote kasi sobrang taas ng quota at walang oras para sa sarili.
There's no end to it all. Being the slave to your desires is just the way humans are hardwired to be. This is why the person who was able to renounce all his/her wordly desires was called an enlightened person. Haaay.. Ayun, naging buddha siya!
