AMBIGUITY


Is it one or the other?
Or was it one and the other?
It was like this or that
with a bit of this and that.

Never really clear in though,
things always get mixed up.
Nobody knows for sure what it was
or whatever it meant.

Some say it was so,
but never really sure how.
Others say differently, oh no.
Which it is, I want to know.

Do you know what it was all about?
Somebody called it a game...
Somebody called it politics...
Somebody called it showbiz.

It seemed like a farce of sorts.
A bit of a tragedy, really.
Whatever it was, it was a mess.
So what did it amount to?

Nothing.

Coming from a recently concluded Christmas party at my government job, I was mad at myself.  I was getting nowhere fast and I was very much smitten.  I was trying my best not to let my lady of interest notice that I had my eye on her the whole night..  Ahahahahahaha..
